San Vicente Ferrer Cultural Centre
Medina del Campo was the setting in 1411 for the first Disciplinary Processions in Spain by Saint Vicente Ferrer.
The Town of Fairs prepares in 2011 to celebrate the VI Centenary of this historic event, with a multitude of cultural activities and the opening of a space dedicated to the interpretation and divulgation of Easter Week.
With a Documentation Centre already open in one of the halls of the Royal Testamentary Palace, Lent of 2011 will see the opening of an Interpretation Centre for Easter Week in Spain and which will also serve as a starting point for the organisation of guided tours around the spectacular renaissance heritage of the Town.
